About Double Beam Balance

Balance, Double Beam

It is also called platform balance and has a weighing capacity of 2 Kg supplied with supplementary masses. The balance has a die cast aluminum base beautifully painted, pressure die casted two beams, graduated 0-10 g x 0.1 g and 0-200 x 10 g, taring capacity 225 gm with tare beam. Spring loaded zero-adjust compensator. Two pans are of stainless steel each of dia 150 mm. Supplementary masses of metal are one each of 100 g, 200 g, 500 g and 1000 g. Magnetic damping is provided for quick weighing.

Accessory :

Specific Gravity attachment consisting of a support rod fitted into a hole in the base and clampable on edge of a bench or working table.
